Friday was my darling dad's birthday, so we held a birthday luncheon here on Saturday.
Each of dad's children and their partner organised a component of the meal, so my elder brother and his family arrived VERY early Saturday morning to drop off the meat, rice and pavlova (our family birthday tradition is pavlova for birthday cakes).
We all had a wonderful day filled with chatter, giggles and great food.
