Weekends are my favourite

We have enjoyed a lovely quiet weekend! W wanted to do some work and study. So we pottered around the house...I made anzac biscuits this afternoon -really just for something to do...the smell of biscuits baking was glorious.

A is recovering from his first horrible cold, so Saturday was spent watching his temperature rise and fall, after a sleepless night the night before! Poor little man just couldn't keep cool!! He is on the mend today though with many smiles for his Nonna and Pa and of course his mum and dad!

We visited Nonna and Pa on both Saturday and Sunday and enjoyed lovely cups of tea / coffee and chats while A played with his toys.

I love weekends because we can enjoy family time together whether it be just the three of us or with my family as well.
